Reininger’s fabulous newest addition to the tasting room, and I’m not talking the 2008 Mr. Owl’s Red, is a sweet, young Walla Walla native with a sassy side and a mean head kick if you ever meet her in the ring.

Favorite Reininger Wine: “If there is some goo’ ol dust on it from sitting in the rack for too long, it’s prob my fav! Of course our 2008 Stone Tree SoRho…in love with this blend! It’s perfect with my home roasted chicken and veggies.”
Izzie is a spunky chica who called Reininger winery her home just last spring when she started here. After graduating from DeSales High School in 2007, she continued her education at Walla Walla Community College and graduated with her AS degree in 2010 as well as just completing her discipleship program through her church just this past weekend. It was a fateful day when Izzie told me that she was interested in the Oenology and Viticulture Program at WWCC and her passion for learning the science behind wine making. Coincidentally Reininger had just lost a tasting room employee and was in dire need of someone very special, smart, and hard working (her contagious smile didn’t hurt, either)…someone just like Izzie!
When not at the winery making people smile and slingin’ wine, Iz is either at church studying the good word or at the gym lifting kettle bells, punching the bag, and kicking some serious butt as a MMA fighter. Other hobbies include cooking, knitting, painting, longboarding, basketball and summer bbq-ing, bocce ball, and concerts. We are truly lucky to have Izzie at Reininger!
